My Grandma..
The smartest lady i have ever seen... At the age of 80+ she has such a "sharp mind" that she can tell us everything that even we have forgotten.
She is crazy for remembering numbers. She can even tell you the prices of commodities that were charged during her Pakistan days!!
She is a big chatterbox and keeps the conversation lively with lot of live examples-shyam, ashok, geeta, sita...dnt knw hw mny people does she knows..All relatives + neighbours + neighbours ke relatives etc etc etc.........Huh..Really God has granted Her great memory...she is a genius of geniuses..!!
She is super intelligent...she has the solution for every problem.
She is very creative person. She utilizes the waste very well and make the best out of it (that i am still learning from her!!).
She is superb cook too...Her tandoor ki rotiyan,, meethi rotiyan,, gol gappe,, dhai-bhalle...u name it n she will make it. Just have a taste of it once and i am damn sure that you will be left craving for more...!
& ya not to forget the variety of "yummy pickles" that she makes...No one can ever compete with Her...!!
Everyone says, "unke haathon mein barkat hai"...She can manage a small quantity of food among the great grand family...Hats off to her!!
She distributes everything equally. Be it food or our pocket money.
Every grand-child even 28 year old one..gets a monthly pocket money + extra money on B'days...!! :)
What to say...She is the one person that has a lot to teach us. She has a vast experience of this world. She along with grandpa has been through tough times with a meager income & 5 children to feed with...But she never lost her courage..she used to stitch suits and earn from it, managed home, cakring for whole family and relatives, besides all her rituals...No doubt, she is too aaborious and strong...Even at this age, she can travel all alone !!
